The SwiftMelt Mastic Asphalt Mixer is one of the most efficient and effective machines we’ve ever built. The latest incarnation is a triumph for our engineers and designers. Fitting the machines function to a different material and adjusting its design to meet the needs of MCS was a pleasure.

From our first contact with the team at WJ Horrod in Autumn 2025, we have had nothing but an incredible level of service. WJ Horrod is a remarkable family business which produces high-quality machinery for a range of industries. In our case, they manufactured a bespoke Swiftmelt Mastic Boiler for flowable mastic products in the highway sector. Their attention to detail is without comparison. They carefully listened to our needs, developed the concept, and produced a machine which is by far the best mastic boiler we have ever worked with. In addition to producing a wide range of specialist equipment they also offer a first class aftercare service. Their engineers are always willing and available to help and advise, which I cannot recommend WJ Horrod highly enough.
